Tackling Poverty: Securing Effective Policies and Increasing Institutional Capacity

The World Bank (WB) and the Institute for Market Economics (IME) cordially invite you to our joint event – “Tackling Poverty: Securing Effective Policies and Increasing Institutional Capacity”.

We will present the findings of IME’s analysis of poverty risk groups in Bulgaria and WB’s evaluation of the capacity of the social safety net system to protect the poor and vulnerable and to activate beneficiaries into work.

The roundtable will take place on June 19th, 2015 at the Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Grand Hotel in Sofia.

Simultaneous interpretation to and from English will be provided. The event is targeted towards social policy experts, but it will also be open to the media.
