Prices Keep on Rising in March

March is another month of rising prices. According to NSI data, the overall consumer price index (CPI) marks a monthly increase of 0.6% and compared to March 2010 the increase is 5.6%. The last time the annual inflation rate was over 5% had been recorded in February 2009, after which its rate fell gradually (less than 2%), but by July 2010 a new rise began.

Institute for Market Economics and Bulgarian Macroeconomic Association with the support of America for Bulgaria Foundation created the first economic library in Bulgaria. The official opening of the library was in June 2010.

The general conclusion of the review of administrative activity on the labour market shows that significant amount of funds are spent, which in most cases do not lead to desired results, but deprives taxpayers of part of their earnings in the form of taxes that finance these policies.
